An even bolder Musso enters the UK market with a striking, new front styling and chrome grille.
Based on Rexton, the interior of the Musso offers a very high standard of detailing, fit and finish including a woven finish accent to the fascia, new A-pillar grab handles and graphite finish to the air vents and door tops. Perhaps unexpectedly for a utility vehicle, it brings a level of refinement and contemporary ambiance that is more akin to a premium SUV yet still feels robust and durable, complementing the exterior look of a pick-up.

Experience the fun of driving Musso! The four-wheel drive system ensures optimal distribution of power to the front and rear wheels according to road and driving conditions thereby ensuring maximum traction and safety. Equipped with a turbocharger, the engine delivers higher efficiency over previous models, maximising both fuel efficiency and acceleration.
The new, more powerful, KGM manufactured turbo diesel engine has the power to deliver, but is more efficient and yet remarkably quiet. 6-speed manual transmission, or 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission, the Musso offers a choice of either.
Musso is powered an e-XDi220 engine with more power and torque – it now delivers a maximum power of 202ps at 3,800rpm (up 12%) and a maximum torque of 441Nm at 1,600 to 2,600rpm (up 5%). This highly efficient, quiet, and proven engine delivers progressive acceleration from a standing start, and strong low-end torque, typical of KGM power units.

The long-bed Saracen+ is really very special. Available in all colours in the range except for Atlantic Blue, it features a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission, striking black front grille, 18” alloy wheels fitted with XL tyres, black and silver side steps, dark tinted rear privacy glass, LED front fog lights and SARACEN+ graphics. The interior features a 12.3” digital cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, and blind spot detection. The Saracen+ is the only Musso available in the long-bed variant, offering an extra 310mm in the load bed and 200kg in payload.

Part-time four-wheel drive allows the driver to choose when to activate the system, depending upon changing conditions on or off the road. There is the choice of high range 4×4 for slippery conditions or low range for when the going gets really tough.

Musso is available as a 5-seat vehicle only.
Is there a petrol engine?
No, all Musso variants have a 2.2l diesel engine.

No, all Musso variants have a 2.2l diesel engine however KGM is investing heavily into new BEV technology due to the UK soon – watch this space!

The towing capacity for Musso is 3.5 tonnes – and it can carry in excess of a tonne at the same time.
